Farmer's Market

Just got back from Dekalb Farmer's Market with the family. It is quite a trek to get there, but worth it. Im always impressed by the quality and selection of food. We bought almost everything organic and I couldn't believe that our bill was only $100. If we had gone to Kroger or Publix, Im sure we would have spent at least $200 and not gotten the fresh foods that we did.

As we were walking in, Michael said that the market reminded him of Europe. I agreed. It was really crowded and we played bumper cars with other buggies to get around. Michael took charge and we zoomed through the store, Wade in tow.  Wade loves the fish section. He likes to watch the live crabs and fish. I should have taken a pic.

I believe we bought every veggie that we knew the name of. Kale, spinach, broccoli, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, onions, green onions, zucchini, tomatoes, lemongrass, and probably some others that I cant remember. What are we going to do with all these veggies?

Off to make some veggie soup.

Here is our stock pile of healthy foods. Go get some!
